Greene County 公共卫生 partners with the Alzheimer's Association and the YMCA of Greater Des Moines to offer this 10-week, evidence-based program designed to reduce the risk of dementia by as much as 70%. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid and Stop the Bleed Classes

Greene County 公共卫生 oversees the annual program, providing regional residents with details on how to remain sun safe as well as distributing free sunscreen.

Greene County 公共卫生 has certified child passenger safety technicians ready to assist with the installation of car seats and/or checking to ensure the car seat is safe. Participants are guided through the seat installation process and will be connected with appropriate resources for any special needs. A new car seat is also provided at no cost to those who complete the installation education.
